Getting There & Back
Getting to the Moon
- Kill a Moon Rabbit Operator, steal its Rabbit Guard’s Feet Feature, and then jump to the Moon. This is extremely risky & is usually a one-way trip because the Moon is under perpetual cloud cover. Once you pass through the clouds, Aia isn’t visible until you can climb to the top of a Lunarian crystal spire or one of the mountains that penetrates the cloud cover, which means you can’t return even if you brought a spare to return with.
- Find a Lunarian Wormhole & pass through it, and then escape detection & expulsion by the Lunarian Royal Guard. This is risky because the Lunarians keep extremely tight watch over every wormhole they operate specifically to prevent Aian creatures from slipping through.
- Build a magical contraption & fly to the Moon. Not impossible, but very unlikely & difficult. Very few mortals have succeeded at this … but very few have cared enough to try.
- Magic. A sufficiently powerful spirit of movement could teleport you to the Moon in a manner not dissimilar to the locals.
Leaving the Moon
- Tell the Lunarians you’re there. If the Lunarian Royal Family learns that an Aian made it to the Moon, they will happily strip you of everything from the Moon you possess & kick you butt-naked out of one of their wormholes to freeze to death in a distant wilderness. It’s not a dignified or easy method of exit, but they will let you go.
- Kill a Moon Rabbit Operator, steal its lunar hop & climb a crystal spire. The Lunarian towers that penetrate the cloud cover are the launching points for rabbit operators that get deployed to Aia. During the lunar apex, anyone that can match its hop can reach any point on Aia.
