End of Battle
When all members of one or both sides are defeated, or if a Round has ended where one side was fleeing, the battle is over. Fleeing sides count as defeated.
Defeated Side
- Defeated named characters: Make a Mortality Save for each. If alive, captured by the enemy.
- Defeated unnamed characters: 50% die or desert forever; the other 50% are wounded & captured. When rounding, round towards the lighter consequence.
- Undefeated units: Escape without consequences.
Victorious Side
- Defeated named characters: Make a Mortality Save for each, with a +2 bonus.
- Defeated unnamed characters: 25% die or desert forever; 25% are wounded; 50% are fine. When rounding, round towards the lighter consequence.
- Undefeated units: Escape without consequences.
Battle Mortality Save Table

| Crit ≥12 | You are alive & intact, with only minor wounds. You fully escape capture regardless of other rules. |
| Pass 8–11 | Reduced to 0 HP. If character, roll for a Wound; if group, all assumed wounded. |
| Seven 7 | Reduced to 0 HP. If character, roll for a Wound; if group, all assumed wounded. You are captured by the enemy, regardless of other rules. |
| Failure 3–6 | You are dead. |
| Fumble ≤2 | You died in a particularly gruesome manner. |
