Your Capital is a business, a mercantile or artisan venture. You probably don’t rule the entire Settlement your Capital is located in; instead, your Families represent your clients, patrons, and customers who patronize your business. Your income is representative of the spare currency spent on your particular corner of the economy.
You are in direct competition with every other business who fills your particular financial niche. This can lead to problems when trying to grow your faction.
- No Army: You cannot take out an MP Debt against your Families — they’re your customers, not your citizens. You can still hire mercenaries & guards, but you’ll have to pay them directly.
