Party Cooperation
Glass Empires can be played either as a PvP Braunstein or as a PvE Party-based campaign. If you’re playing a game where all Players are part of a single cooperative Party, this step is mandatory; otherwise, it’s optional.
This step is done by all Players at once & you should wait until everyone is done with their PC before proceeding. The most important element to the creation of a new Party is making sure that all PCs in the Party are capable of working together & have a good reason to do so. Therefore, all Players must collectively identify a reason for them to trust each other & be working towards the same approximate goal — power & security.
To do this, the Players may collectively come up with a novel reason or roll on the table below to generate a conceptual seed to expand on. Alternatively, the GM may establish a campaign-specific reason for entanglement.
| 1d6 | Entanglement |
|---|---|
| 1 | You’re all in debt to the same local [[factions |
| 2 | You’re old friends, planning joint revenge against a shared enemy who wronged you all. |
| 3 | You’re old rivals, planning a joint venture to survive the civil war’s chaos. |
| 4 | You’re collectively seeking a treasure, person, or secret that requires all your skills. |
| 5 | You’ve been hired by a local Faction for a specific dangerous job none could do alone. |
| 6 | You’re all being hunted by the same Faction; there’s safety in numbers. |
