Qualified Classes: Warlord, Lord.

Your Capital is a mobile encampment. This covers nomads, merchant caravans, rogue mercenary companies, armies, and other itinerant Factions. What gets created when you raise an Army.

If you’re a band of PCs in a Party & don’t have a place of residence, your Faction Type is probably that of an army.

  • Army: Your entire Faction is an Army composed of Soldiers, sans baggage train (which is another 25% or so, treated as invisible the same way Settlements don’t count rural population).
  • Supply Lines: If you have no explicit stockpile of food, you require an unobstructed road leading back to a Settlement with as many Families as you have soldiers at all times. If the supply line is ever disrupted (i.e. by enemy forces blocking all valid paths), you must immediately roll an Exhaustion Save & make a new one each week.

Armies may or may not have a Families stat representing noncombatants.
